Precision CNC Programmer/Machinist — Haas & Fanuc

Location: Canfield, OH

A day in the life

Your morning kicks off in our climate-controlled job shop, where quality beats volume every time. You review a print, choose tooling, and bring a Haas 3–4 axis VMC online to cut the first critical feature. By mid-morning you pivot to a horizontal machining center for a second operation, optimizing workholding and feeds. After lunch, you jump on a 2-axis CNC lathe for tight-tolerance turning, writing or refining G-code (and using conversational where it makes sense). A Bridgeport vertical mill and manual lathe wait nearby for those quick one-off ops. You wrap up by recording offsets, collaborating with teammates to shave minutes off a setup, and leaving your area spotless.

What you will do

• Set up and run CNC mills (3–4 axis VMC and horizontal) and/or 2-axis CNC lathes to produce precise components.
• Program at the machine using G-code and conversational tools to meet project specs.
• Handle manual machining on vertical/horizontal mills and manual lathes when needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Partner with peers to improve processes and boost throughput without sacrificing quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What you bring

• Hands-on CNC machinist experience with strong programming (G-code) capability.
• Confidence operating CNC mills or lathes—or both.
• Solid manual machining chops (Bridgeport and horizontal machining center familiarity).
• Blueprint fluency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset and clear, collaborative communication.
• Technical training/certifications are a plus.

Schedule and pay

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• No mandatory overtime or weekends; OT offered when available
• Compensation: Based on experience
