Location: Fredericktown, Ohio Company: PurrFormance Diesel, Inc.Job Summary:
PurrFormance Diesel, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and fuel systems. This role involves working on light- to heavy-duty diesel vehicles, including R&R (remove and replace) of fuel injection components, turbochargers, and complete engine systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, fuel systems, and drivetrains
- Perform R&R of fuel injection components, turbos, and full engine assemblies
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs according to OEM specifications
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals
- Operate diagnostic tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other technicians and service writers to ensure quality service
- Complete documentation for all work performed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of diesel technician experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
- Ability to read schematics and service manuals
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and computer systems
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- ASE Certification or equivalent is a plus
