Distribution Associate

Volt is immediately hiring a Distribution Associate in Cambridge, Ohio 43725.

As a Distribution Associate you will be responsible for:

• Picking orders accurately using an RF scanner.

• Packaging finished product and loading outbound trailers.

• Retrieving and transporting materials according to daily work schedules.

• Performing basic warehouse functions on the computer.

• Communicating effectively in a team-based, high demand environment.

• Maintaining clean and organized work areas.

• Following customer-specific instructions and safety procedures.

• Performing other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Overtime available on Saturdays)

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00AM

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision

• Strong work ethic and self-motivation

• Basic math skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness and ability to complete training on warehouse equipment, including: fork lifts, standing crown pick trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.

• Ability to work at heights of 20 feet while wearing fall protection.

• Ability to climb stairs and perform physically demanding tasks safely.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
