In House Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:
We are a small agricultural manufacturing facility seeking a dependable, hands-on In-House Maintenance Technician with a “jack-of-all-trades” mindset. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and takes pride in fixing, maintaining, and improving both equipment and facilities.

The right candidate is resourceful, mechanically inclined, and comfortable handling a wide range of maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Maintain and repair building systems including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and overhead doors
• Handle general building upkeep and minor repairs (carpentry, shop fixes, etc.)
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed
• Perform general property upkeep and outdoor maintenance
• Respond to maintenance issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain basic records of repairs and completed work
• Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized shop

Qualifications:

• Previous hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, agriculture, construction, or a similar field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of electrical (Legacy & Modern preferred), plumbing, and general building maintenance
• Experience with agricultural equipment is a plus
• Welding, fabrication, or carpentry experience highly valued
• Ability to work independently and manage a variety of tasks
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work
• Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable

Certifications:
Certifications are a plus but not required. We value real-world, hands-on experience and a willingness to learn over formal credentials. The right candidate should be comfortable taking on a variety of tasks and learning new skills as needed.

Schedule:

· Flexible part-time hours are offered, with occasional extra hours when necessary, and the possibility of transitioning to full-time.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
