Position Summary

The Production Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all activities within the production department. This individual will lead, mentor, and manage Production Team Leaders, Associates, Coordinators, and Operators, ensuring optimal performance in safety, quality, and delivery. The Production Manager will take full ownership of new and ongoing projects, driving continuous improvement and departmental efficiency.

• 2-3 years of experience in a production environment, including supervisory responsibilities, scheduling, and process execution.

• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and attendance.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Capable of effective collaboration across all organizational levels.

• Commitment to upholding company policies and safety standards.

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.

• Supervise and support Production Team Leaders and Associates, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training for career development.

• Enforce company policies consistently and foster a positive team environment.

• Promote and maintain 5S standards throughout assigned areas.

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying and resolving production bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with other departments and external vendors on process improvements and project execution.

• Manage labor resources (full-time, temporary, and contract) in line with production demands.

• Communicate production updates and performance metrics to plant leadership and team members.

• Ensure proper management and control of production equipment and fixtures, including inventory and procurement.

• Partner with Production Control to align resources with customer demands and production schedules.

• Work with Human Resources on staffing needs and recruitment.

• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, including labor, overtime, supplies, and chemicals.

• Support plant-wide goals through interdepartmental coordination and customer-focused service.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager.
