As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Rounds in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift, working with integrity and teamwork while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and responding to questions, access requests, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or operational issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, following location procedures for access control, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing loading dock activity, trailer areas, and high-traffic zones, and reporting concerns according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
