Chef - Cooking Instructor

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time chef with a passion for sharing culinary knowledge and inspiring others in the kitchen. In this role, you will lead engaging, hands-on cooking classes for both kids and adults. Our classes are designed for the general public—not for culinary students—so an enthusiastic, approachable, and entertaining personality is a must!

You’ll be responsible for teaching culinary techniques, guiding participants step-by-step, and ensuring every class is both fun and educational.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach scheduled cooking classes for kids and adults
• Demonstrate culinary techniques in an engaging and approachable way
• Create a fun, safe, and professional classroom environment
• Ensure classes run smoothly and on schedule
• Maintain a dependable presence, as classes must be led by a chef

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional kitchen experience or culinary degree (preferred but not required)
• Previous teaching or training experience (helpful, but not required)
• Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic and entertaining personality
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and age groups
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Schedule & Hours

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Typical hours: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Flexible weekend availability required
