Finisher Operator
Kelly is hiring Finisher Operators/Assemblers on behalf of a global fastener manufacturer for immediate opportunities. This is an Entry-Level skillset, and training can be done on the job.
$17.00 - 20.00 Based on experience + OT Availability
1* * st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:

Assembly of small parts
-
Use bending fixtures to shape parts
-
Use presses to install parts
-
Perform QA checks on running parts
-
Replace labels and ribbons on label makers
-
Basic piece and time transactions on RF scanner
-
Lubricate equipment as needed
-
Use of basic quality gages
-
Meet production schedules and timelines
-
Complete all paperwork the role requires
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast pace constantly changing environment
-
Experience with RF guns
-
Basic computer skills
-
Mechanical aptitude
Preferred Skills:
-
1-3 years in a manufacturing environment
-
Strong communication skills
Physical Demands:
-
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, crawl, and climb stairs
-
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Environment:
-
Newer facility is less than ten years old
-
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/occasionally loud requiring hearing protection
-
Will be exposed to oily conditions as machine and nuts are lubricated with oil during operation
