Chaplain

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 8-hour shifts

Essential Duties:

• Create, manage, and implement all religious programs of the facility.

• Serve as the point of contact for all outside religious activities, persons or groups requesting admittance to the facility.

• Frequently interact with inmates during their daily activities to provide moral and religious instruction.

• Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.

• Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED).
• Two (2) years religious or related experience required.
• Current ecclesiastical endorsement by denomination or ordination, completion of clinical pastoral education provided by denominational or interdenominational training organizations.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
• Must successfully complete all annual in-service requirements.
