Position Summary

Druids Garden Tea Company is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Show & Convention Workers . This position is responsible for transporting equipment, setting up and operating booths at events, and providing excellent customer service. Team members will represent the company at craft shows, conventions, and festivals, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all attendees.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $12.50 – $17.50 per hour (based on experience)

• Mileage Reimbursement: for transporting booth equipment to and from events

• Lodging: hotels provided when overnight stays are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Transport event equipment, displays, and merchandise to and from venues (personal vehicle required).

• Set up, operate, and break down booths in an organized and timely manner.

• Greet and engage customers, providing a welcoming and positive experience.

• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Assist multiple customers at once, ensuring prompt and friendly service.

• Maintain booth cleanliness, organization, and product presentation.

• Represent Druids Garden Tea Company in a professional, responsible manner.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting booth equipment.

• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.

• Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday event schedule).

• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable demeanor.

• Punctual, responsible, and dependable.

• Comfortable with cash handling and basic math.

• Ability to lift and carry boxes and equipment during setup/breakdown.

• Previous retail, customer service, or event experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

This position involves travel to various event locations, primarily on weekends. Work includes both indoor and outdoor settings, depending on the event. Physical activity, including lifting and carrying equipment, is required.
