Job Description

Join our team as a Cleanroom Technician where you will be responsible for operating and tending to injection mold machines. As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to manage multiple machines and be involved in various stages of production. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will perform visual inspections, engage in packaging, and operate machinery to ensure quality production.

Responsibilities

• Tend to 1 to 3 injection mold machines, starting with one and progressing as training advances.
• Operate machines with run times ranging from 60 seconds to 3.5 minutes.
• Perform machine changeovers for different products throughout the week.
• Remove products from machinery using end-of-arm tooling and place them on inspection conveyors.
• Conduct visual inspections and package products accordingly.
• Engage in small sub-assemblies as needed depending on the product.
• Operate a sonic welder to assemble smoothie cups or insert magnets.
• Trim excess flash from products and ensure resin meets quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions and perform visual inspections.
• Experience with injection molding is a plus for direct placement consideration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with general labor, warehouse operations, and machine operating.
• Skills in using hand tools, inspection, grinding, polishing, and deburring.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean manufacturing environment focused on plastic injection molding. The facility is known for being drama-free and not physically demanding. Employees work in shifts, with the first shift running from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, the second from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and the third from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Overtime is mandatory when posted, and shift differentials are offered. The team consists of around 20 people per shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
