Performance reviews are given at 6 months and 1 year.

Industrial Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform basic maintenance work. Replacing parts as directed under direct supervision.
• Replace and repair parts rebuild equipment and align gears shafts pulleys and belts under supervision.
• Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair modification and maintenance of equipment.
• Help perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory.
• Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan under direct supervision of PM Technician.
• Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up machine and equipment clean-up sweeping production floor after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Participate in maintenance training programs to continuously improve knowledge skills and abilities. Work towards developing skills in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Maintain compliance with changing OSHA regulations.
• Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary job duties.
• Operate a Maintenance Truck for picking up parts and materials.

Requirements

Education and experience:

High school diploma or general education certification preferred.

Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language preferred.

Mechanical or electrical experience. (Helpful)

1 year of related experience.

Basic knowledge of equipment preventive maintenance. (Desired)

Valid Drivers License

Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations.

Computer literate.
