Kubby’s offers
- Hourly Base Pay: $ 12.75-14.00hr (Determined by OCCRRA Level)
- Salary Base Pay: $480.00-$550.00 week (Determined by OCCRRA Level)
- Eligible employees can advance their education in Early Childhood Education.
- Paid Holiday’s (Full-time Salary only)
- 1-week Paid Vacation (Full-time Salary only)
- 401k employer contribution (Full-time Salary only)
- Opportunity for staff to attend paid in-service training, seminars, training sessions, and meetings outside of the organization to stay on top of research and best practices.
Job Summary
- Must be able to work Monday-Thursday during the hours of 7:30 a.m.-4:30p.m./Friday 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
- Help support exciting, caring, nurturing, and positive learning environments to foster exploration.
- Cultivate best growth and development through curriculum activities in both the indoor and outdoor environment.
- As a teaching team, help develop and implement developmentally appropriate activity plans through Brightwheel for children based on assessment and screening data.
- Be a team member in engaging parents through caring, meaningful, and professional relationships to enhance child(ren)’s development.
- Must be willing to train on all programs the Family Childcare Provider uses.
- Must be willing to potty train
- Must be able to always keep time management
- Must be able to always keep a sanitary room
- Must be able to do daily cleaning and sanitizing / Friday room breakdown for deep sanitization
- Must be able to multitask between infants/toddlers
- Must be willing to maintain CDA Credential or obtain a CDA Credential within 1yr of employment
Education and Certification:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- CDA Credential preferred in infant/toddler
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Experience:
- Preferred 6mo-1year working with infant/toddler in a childcare setting
Skills and Ability:
- Physical: Ability to lift to 50lb, stoop, kneel, and bend to interact with children on their level.
- Communication: strong verbal/written skills to interact with parents, staff, and take daily child progress notes
- Personal Traits: Cleanliness, patience, flexibility, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor.
