Programmer,
The Programmer role involves designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data integration platforms. The position requires building and maintaining integration pipelines, re-platforming existing workloads, and developing automation frameworks for data processing. The Programmer will also be responsible for data quality, metadata management, and system monitoring.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support enterprise data integration platforms.
- Build and maintain integration pipelines across Oracle, SQL Server, and other systems.
- Re-platform and modernize existing workloads for scalability and reliability.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks for data processing (full, incremental, CDC).
- Create and manage layered environments (staging, refined, curated) for data consistency.
- Integrate data and processes across managed applications for unified access.
- Apply validation rules, quality checks, and access controls to ensure data reliability.
- Support metadata management (dictionaries, glossaries, lineage documentation).
- Enforce data retention and lifecycle management policies.
- Manage and configure Linux server environments and automate with cron jobs.
- Develop and maintain Python and SQL scripts for automation and system tasks.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system processes, file transfers, and performance.
- Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and orchestration for automated processes.
- Provide DevOps support including version control, rollback, and deployment automation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, system integration, or enterprise technology environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (19C), PL/SQL, and performance optimization.
- Proficient in ETL/ELT frameworks (SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator, or equivalent).
- Proficient in Linux server environments and creating cron jobs.
- Advanced skills in Python and SQL scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting Linux-based file transfers and system processes.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in public sector or healthcare IT environments.
