Landscape / Hardscape Foreman

SummitView Landscape & Design builds outdoor living spaces that bring families together. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape / Hardscape Foreman to lead installation crews and deliver high-quality patios, retaining walls, plantings, water features, and more.

Responsibilities

Crew Leadership

• Lead and supervise a landscape/hardscape crew
• Communicate goals, timelines, and expectations
• Train crew members in installation, equipment use, and safety

Hardscape Construction

• Build patios, retaining walls, walkways, steps, and seating walls
• Perform grading, base prep, compaction, drainage, and site layout
• Install fire features, water features, lighting, and other outdoor living elements
• Landscape Installation
• Install trees, shrubs, perennials, sod, and landscape beds
• Ensure proper planting techniques and long-term plant health

Project Quality

• Read and interpret design plans
• Ensure work meets specifications and quality standards
• Identify issues and adjust plans to keep projects on schedule

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate mini excavators, skid steers, mini skid steers, compactors, saws, and tools
• Oversee maintenance and proper use of all equipment

Communication & Organization

• Interact professionally with clients when needed
• Coordinate with project managers on progress and materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe jobsite

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape or hardscape experience (leadership preferred)
• Strong knowledge of paver installation, retaining walls, grading, and drainage
• Ability to read and execute design plans
• Able to lead a team professionally and efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday--Friday
• Occasional weekends during peak season
