Center Associate

Job Summary: The UPS Store Fairfield #4318 is seeking a dedicated and driven Center Associate to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a full-time individual contributor in the franchise industry, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and generating sales through various UPS services and products. This is a commission-based sales position with a base salary, offering an exciting opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. Compensation & Benefits: The Center Associate position offers a competitive salary of $12 to $14 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to the base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn commission on sales, providing unlimited potential for earning potential. Currently we are looking for someone to help on Wednesdays and Fridays 8 to 4 or 1:00 to 7:00 pm and some time on Saturdays . Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Educate customers on UPS services and products to help meet their shipping and business needs
• Process shipments and handle packaging for customers
• Operate and use all equipment and software necessary for the job
• Meet and exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling UPS services and products
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Keep up-to-date with changes in UPS services and products
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of UPS services and products is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
