Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will execute a variety of monthly accounts payable transactions and manage payment distributions to meet monthly deadlines and closings. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will provide support to the accounting team with various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Process 60-70 vouchers daily through the accounts payable system for invoices and check requests.

• Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations.

• Provide customer service to plant personnel, other divisions, and suppliers.

• Investigate issues, answer questions, and direct queries to appropriate resources.

• Assist the Accounting Team with tasks and special projects.

• Maintain and enhance a lean office culture.

Essential Skills

• Accounts payable experience.

• Experience in invoices processing.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

• Ability to effectively perform data entry, accounting, collections, and customer service tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Several years of experience in high-volume AP.

• SAP knowledge is beneficial but not required.

• Ability to quickly adapt and 'hit the ground running' as this is a contract position.

• Professional demeanor with effective communication skills.

Work Environment

This role requires working five days a week in the office located in the industrial hose building in Wickliffe. The hours are flexible between 8 AM and 5 PM. The work environment is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Wickliffe, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
