The YMCA of Lima, OH is seeking lifeguards to join our team. Hours needed are for mornings, afternoons and evenings. Can discuss at interview.

Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour

General Function:

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas. This includes creating a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• Must be Lifeguard Certified, or attend our lifeguard certification class (participation is limited)
• Reliable transportation to attend work
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA

Certifications:

• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
• First Aid
• Lifeguard
