Job Title: Travel RN – Stepdown Float Pool

Location: Cleveland, OH

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Unit: Stepdown/Progressive Care Float Pool

Shift:

• Day Shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Night Shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  
  (Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs)
  
  Holidays: Must be available to work every other holiday
  
  Pay Rate: $2,716 Weekly (Gross)

Seeking an experienced Travel RN to provide nursing care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Float Pool. The nurse will care for cardiac and progressive care patients, support staff across multiple units, and ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital standards.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Stepdown and Progressive Care patients.

• Float between units as assigned, supporting varying patient care needs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.

• Respond to rotating shifts and holiday coverage as scheduled.

• Licensure: Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License (required).

• Experience:

  • Minimum 18 months permanent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience prior to travel.

  • Minimum 18 months recent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted).

  • PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required.

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
