Job Purpose:

Utilize production tooling; responsible for manufacturing and assembly commercial products. Follows assembly prints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to Manufacturing Supervisor.

2-5 years of related experience required.

Primary Work Activities:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists
• Gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Inspect equipment after assembly
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; communicate to purchasing
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Document actions by completing production entry and quality forms
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
