Role Description

The Loan Processor is a full-time, on-site role based in Toledo, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing loan applications, verifying and organizing required loan documents, and collaborating with underwriters to ensure applications meet approval standards. You will communicate with members to address inquiries, provide updates on loan status, and resolve any issues promptly. This role also involves maintaining compliance with credit union policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Loan Documents and Loan Processing workflows
• Familiarity with Loans and Underwriting processes
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members and team members
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under deadlines
• Prior experience in financial institutions or loan processing preferred
• Proficiency in using financial software and systems is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher in finance or a related field is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
