TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and assisting during procedures. Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain surgical inventory and restock as necessary.
- Document procedures and sterilization logs accurately and in compliance with facility policies.
- Adapt quickly to different facility protocols and surgical teams.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program .
- Certification (CST or equivalent) preferred or required based on state regulations.
- Minimum 1–2 years of surgical experience in hospital or ambulatory surgical settings.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and OR safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments to various healthcare facilities.
