Fremont, Ohio | Hospital-Based Laboratory | Full-Time

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a hospital-based laboratory team supporting critical diagnostic services.

In this role, you will perform complex laboratory testing that directly impacts patient diagnosis, treatment, and care. You'll apply analytical thinking, precision, and clinical judgment to evaluate biological specimens and ensure accurate, timely results.

• Perform moderate to high-complexity laboratory testing on biological specimens

• Analyze, interpret, and validate test results with a high degree of accuracy

• Investigate and troubleshoot unexpected or inconsistent results

• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:

  • Medical Laboratory Science

  • Clinical Laboratory Science

  • Medical Technology

  • Or a related life science discipline meeting high-complexity testing requirements

• MLT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) eligible at time of hire

• Must obtain certification within 1 year of hire

• Entry-level to early career (0–1+ years)

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical lab setting is highly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety
