Job Summary:

Navita Health is seeking a CDCA, LCDC II or LCDC III-certified professional to join our team as a Quality & Client Experience Auditor. This remote contract role combines client outreach, clinical documentation auditing, and client engagement support to strengthen both service quality and client connection. You’ll help ensure care meets Medicaid and OhioMHAS standards, while also stepping in to assist clients who may need additional support, linking clients to services, and building lasting engagement.

Position Summary

The Quality & Client Experience Auditor (CDCA or LCDC II/III ) plays a unique dual role in ensuring both high-quality service delivery and exceptional client experience across Navita Health’s recovery programs.

This contractor position is ideal for a CDCA or LCDC II/III License holder who can combine empathy, communication, and compliance expertise. The Auditor conducts client satisfaction and experience outreach calls and surveys, to assess service quality and engagement while also reviewing clinical documentation to ensure alignment with OhioMHAS and Medicaid standards.

In addition, this role provides a hands-on support function, assisting clients who may need more support, by offering short-term CDCA-, LCDC II/III- level engagement, service linkage, and engagement support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client satisfaction and engagement outreach with our clients, on a monthly basis, documenting feedback on service quality, accessibility, and trust.

  • Audit peer and case manager documentation for compliance, accuracy, and clinical appropriateness.

  • Identify gaps between client-reported experience and documented care to inform quality improvements.

  • Re-engage clients who are at risk of disengagement or care disruption by providing direct CDCA, LCDC II/III -level support, linking them to services, and restoring ongoing engagement.

  • Collaborate with compliance, quality, and clinical leadership to develop corrective actions and training based on audit trends.

  • Track and report findings in Navita Health’s audit dashboards and quality systems.

  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to HIPAA, FWA, Medicaid, and OhioMHAS standards.

  • Support Recruitment activities with the screening of applicants for Case Manager and Peer Supporter positions.

Qualifications

  • Active, CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) certification required.
  • Active, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC II/III)
  • Certification in addiction counseling or relevant licensure required.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
  • 3+ years of experience in or with peer recovery, case management, chemical dependency counseling and quality/compliance auditing preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
  • Familiarity with OhioMHAS and Medicaid documentation standards.
  • Excellent analytical, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in EHR platforms, Excel/Google Sheets, and documentation review tools.

Contract Details

  • Hours: 20–25 hours per week
  • Compensation: $25-$30/hour, based on experience and license.
  • Term: Ongoing contract with opportunity for renewal or expansion on a quarterly basis
  • Location: Remote (Ohio-based)
  • Flexible contract role with autonomy in scheduling; work may be completed between 8 AM–8 PM (local time), Sunday–Saturday, with preferred availability for communication and collaboration during at least three standard business days each week.
  • Other duties as assigned , which may include administrative support tasks.
