Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise‑grade solution design and guides teams through end‑to‑end implementation and architectural best practices .

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and development of enterprise‑grade APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Oauth 2.0, Spring Batch, and REST architecture.

• Drive solution architecture by defining technical requirements, implementation strategies, and best practices for cloud‑native, high‑availability systems.

• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes while supporting CI/CD pipelines through tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Helm.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, product owners, and global development teams to deliver scalable, secure, market‑facing applications.

• Perform hands‑on coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across distributed systems, caching layers, and relational databases.

• Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies by participating in sprints, backlog refinement, and cross‑functional coordination to drive end‑to‑end delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of hands‑on software development experience, including senior‑level responsibilities.

• Strong advanced Java and Spring Boot expertise with proven experience building enterprise‑grade microservices and market‑facing APIs.

• Hands‑on experience with containerization, cloud‑native architecture, and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and AWS.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
