Administrative Support Specialist

Summary:As the Admin Support Specialist, you will provide administrative and basic technical support to team members. You will be responsible for performing basic day-to-day functions in the office such as organizing, filing, providing project assistance, word processing and data entry. Additionally, you will evaluate requests for assistance from team members experiencing problems with PC’s, network printers, phone systems, and other computer-related technologies and will coordinate with the Corporate Service Desk department for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Service Desk to provide technical assistance to team members.
- Provide level 1 support for – desktops and laptops.
- Perform basic first level LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
- Assist in supporting and managing phone system.
- Match and Post Accounts Payable invoices
- Greet visitors and answer telephones when needed
- Sort and scan Accounts receivable invoices when needed.
- Sort and route department mail
- Prepare and make deposits, send compile backup documentation for submission to corporate when needed
- Fill in during vacations and absences of other admin staff
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of the functions of a networked computer running Windows 7 and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
- Prior experience with AS/400 and/or phone system support.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
