The impact you’ll make

• Own full-cycle CNC machine installations—assembly, alignment, leveling, wiring, and verification—per OEM specs.
• Bring machines to life: operate, demonstrate, and validate performance while diagnosing issues.
• Apply electronics know-how with meters and hand tools to troubleshoot and tune systems.
• Inspect builds and operating components, ensuring tolerances and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve unique operational and maintenance problems.
• Establish and execute routine service; help customers build preventive maintenance schedules.
• Plan the job: identify the right tools, parts, and equipment for safe, efficient work.
• Measure precisely with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges; document and report results.
• Communicate daily with project managers, supervisors, and customers; report any accidents or mistakes immediately.
• Contribute beyond your core list—perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.

What you bring

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Applied math skills: fractions, ratios, percentages, and proportions.
• Computer fluency: email, databases, recordkeeping, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics; strong Microsoft Office capability.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel 15–20% with occasional overnight trips, including 1–2 week assignments.
• Fanuc CNC control proficiency.

Physical and environmental realities

About 20% of your time is stationary while operating machinery; you’ll frequently move across the shop to access parts, tools, and equipment. Expect to work above and beneath machines, perform fine and gross manipulations, clearly exchange information, and detect defects at close range. Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; carry and load tools and parts as needed. The environment can include wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles, and toxic/caustic chemicals. Noise is usually moderate, though some equipment is loud. PPE is required, and can make conditions warmer during hot months.
