Physical Therapist Job Details

• Job Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic
• Location: Mount Vernon, OH 43050 (Central Ohio)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 6 months
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM), 40 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2120 - $2180
• Caseload: Full outpatient caseload with a variety of diagnoses
• Floating: May float within hospital or to affiliate healthcare facilities nearby
• Orientation: Paid orientation provided

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain an Ohio PT license)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (PT) preferred
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy or rehabilitation preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• First-time travel Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Willingness to float to affiliate locations as needed

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services to diverse patient populations
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in orientation and required clinical training modules
• Provide patient-centered care with compassion, professionalism, and clinical excellence
