Your Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Mechanic, you’ll ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet through:

• Diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing vehicles and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Documenting service records in the Fleet Management System.
• Conducting major and minor repairs on vehicle systems and components.
• Sourcing and procuring parts/supplies through national accounts.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You Bring to the Team

• A valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.
• Self-confidence, emotional stability, and sound judgment under stress.
• Proficiency in both light diesel and gas vehicle repairs.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ambulance or emergency vehicle repair is preferred.
• Familiarity with computer systems for documenting maintenance activities.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications (preferred but not required).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role is active and hands-on, requiring:

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting items over 50 pounds.
• Exposure to loud environments, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions.
• Vision abilities including depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.
