Position Overview

We're seeking a Corporate Parts Manager to lead centralized planning, purchasing, and pricing of parts across our network. This is a strategic role focused on balancing supply with demand, maximizing profitability, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. What You'll Do

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Plan and manage centralized procurement of parts

  • Optimize inventory to reduce excess and improve availability

  • Implement strategies for high-demand items like hoses

  • Lead cycle count processes and ensure inventory accuracy

  • Partner with Parts Operations to manage stock levels and returns

Pricing & Market Strategy

  • Conduct market analysis to stay competitive

  • Develop dynamic pricing strategies to improve gross margins

Vendor & Freight Management

  • Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms and delivery performance

  • Strategize to reduce freight costs while maintaining service quality

Order Management & Data Oversight

  • Maintain accurate parts data and ensure seamless order flow

  • Develop and utilize reporting tools to track trends, fill rates, and performance metrics

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management (at the corporate level with multiple site responsibilities)

  • Strong analytical and data management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP systems

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Corporate Parts Manager

Primary Responsibility Summary

The Corporate Parts Manager is responsible for central planning and ordering of parts, managing pricing strategies, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing costs. This role involves data management, market pricing analysis, freight and vendor negotiations, and eCommerce connectivity. The Corporate Parts Manager ensures parts availability through strategic inventory management and reporting, supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

  • Centralized planning and procurement of parts to optimize availability and minimize excess inventory.

  • Develop and implement a strategic inventory plan for high-demand parts (e.g., hoses).

  • Manage cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Balance what is stocked and returns working with Parts Operations Leader

Pricing and Market Strategy

  • Conduct market pricing analysis to ensure competitive positioning.

  • Develop and implement a dynamic pricing strategy to maximize profitability and customer value.

Vendor relations, vendor negotiations and Freight Negotiations

  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

  • Optimize freight and shipping costs through various strategies

Order Placement and Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date parts data.

  • Ensure seamless order processing and tracking.

  • Develop reporting tools to analyze parts performance and order trends.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, 4-year BA or BS degree preferred.

  • Experience in supply chain management, procurement, or inventory planning.

  • Strong analytical and data management skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with occasional shop visits.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for computer work.

  • Occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs.
