Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Beachwood, Ohio 44122 (Cleveland area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: July 12, 2026
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,840
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 1 Emergency Room RN position
• Unit: 43-bed Emergency Department with 5 fast track rooms, 4 behavioral health swing rooms, 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms, and an internal waiting area
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state (required for Ohio nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience providing emergency care for pediatric and adult patients
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
• Successful completion of all onboarding requirements, including background check, drug screen, immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza), fit test, physical/health statement, and fingerprinting
• Completion of skills checklist and competency exams

Emergency Room RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with diverse medical emergencies, including trauma, behavioral health, and pediatric cases
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Accurately document patient care and maintain clinical records according to hospital policies
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and quality improvement activities
