The Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across social and display channels to drive efficient brand reach, engagement, and conversion. This role partners closely with internal brand, organic, influence, data & analytics and creative teams, and other external cross-functional partners such as our agency and platform representatives to create customer first experiences that latter back to business objectives. This position plays a critical role in shaping the brand’s presence across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Audio, and more. The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, is an innovative thinker, collaborative and thrives in a fast-paced environment where agility and performance are key.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Paid Media & Creative Strategy – 40%
- Responsible for driving annual growth within paid display and social programs
- Develop seasonal media and content strategies, along with a learning agenda, in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Creatively concept campaign frameworks in partnership with advertising agency for a full-funnel media approach
- Proactively identify new capabilities & market trends, & facilitate the evaluation of vendor proposals with key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with data analytics and Agency to ideate media pilots to drive omni-channel efficiencies and effectiveness based on seasonality and media innovation
- Own audience strategy development and requirements in close partnership with the audience strategist
Reporting & Analysis – 30%
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance across multiple channels to ensure delivery against KPIs
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, identifying optimization opportunities and performance trends
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, and account teams to inform future media planning based on performance trends and testing insights
- Proactively surface opportunities, offering strategic recommendations rooted in data to drive continual campaign improvement.
Project Management – 30%
- Lead day-to-day execution of paid media campaign across paid display and social programs in partnership with Coordinator
- Optimize in-season media plans with a focus on creative and audience performance to achieve key goals
- Execute Seasonal Learning Agenda and ensure all test results are documented in Seasonal Learning Agenda decks and socialize results in clear, timely manner as well as add relevant in-season tests
- Responsible for keeping the paid media campaign planning cycle on track by maintaining a seasonal media planning calendar
- Develop strategic wireframes and collaborate with internal design teams for creative alignment
- Maintain seasonal media plan updates in partnership with agency and coordinator
- Ability to quickly pivot direction based on in-market campaign and product performance without missing a beat
- Manage monthly invoices and purchase orders
What Do You Need To Bring?
- 3+ years marketing experience with a specific emphasis in media planning and execution, &/or complementary agency roles
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
- Proficient analytical and reporting skills; familiar with Tableau or PowerBi
- Digital marketing experience in a fast paced, multi-channel, retail environment a plus
- Familiar with display & social media advertising products as well as Audio partners like Spotify and iHeart
- Proven track record of working across & within a matrixed structure – creative, analytics & agency
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Hands on experience in Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube Dashboards
- Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid & demanding environment
