Health and Wellness Benefits Analyst

The Health and Wellness Benfits Analyst implements, administers, and evaluates the effectiveness of total rewards programs. The primary focus of this role is health, wellness, and benefits administration. This integral role partners closely with others on the Total Rewards and broader HR team to deliver a cohesive Total Rewards associate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the health and wellness programs ensuring operational excellence and compliance with reporting, communication, and audit requirements.
- Support the design and delivery of benefit solutions and programs aligned with Total Rewards and business strategies.
- Execute and sustain the short- and long-term Total Rewards strategies.
- Respond to employee questions and provide guidance on how to access wellbeing benefits & resources
- Act as a liaison between vendors, associates, and systems to drive operational execution of programs and resolve issues timely while identifying the root cause and implementing effective countermeasures.
- Partner with benefits vendor partners by leveraging KPIs to achieve cost and quality expectations.
- Analyze and benchmark health and wellness programs to understand utilization, impact, position to market, etc., and recommend opportunities to drive engagement and better health outcomes
- Support the financial management of all Total Rewards program expenses through budgeting, invoicing, and understanding the financial reporting.
- Ensure proactive compliance with government (federal, state, and local) regulations through regular monitoring, planning, and program modifications.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvement opportunities utilizing our lean tools to prioritize, leverage technology, and streamline business processes.
- Support initiatives that improve the employee experience creating the best place-to-work culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required in addition to 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of benefits programs. Experience in health and wellness plans and benefits administration is required.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance related to health and wellness.
- Advanced MS Office skills are required - especially Excel. HRIS experience required, Workday implementation, configuration, and maintenance experience a plus.
- Must possess strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and the ability to influence and communicate at all levels in the organization.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication and execution skills are required.
- Well organized and confident to work independently but a strong team player.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and balance priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Occasional travel required.
