Project Engineer

Committed to delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.
Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with the project management team to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, project coordination, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in engineering or construction management, as well as a keen interest in contributing to the success of diverse construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate project activities, including procurement, subcontractor management, and material deliveries.
Design and Engineering Support:
- Work closely with design teams and architects to review plans and specifications.
- Provide engineering support and insights during the project planning and execution phases.
Document Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Organize and track project-related correspondence and communications.
Quality Control:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control measures on construction sites.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
- Support the project management team in cost estimation and budget development.
- Monitor project costs and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Subcontractor and Vendor Coordination:
- Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors and vendors to address issues and facilitate collaboration.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on construction sites.
- Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience or internships in a project engineering or construction-related role is a plus.
- Estimating experience is a plus.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
