Maintenance Mechanic – Columbus, OH
Full-time | $25–$30/hr
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Columbus, OH . In this role, you'll keep production equipment and the facility running safely and efficiently — making sure operations never miss a beat.
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Read and work from electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and accurate repair records
- Support plant safety and ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or food manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs , welding (TIG), and fabrication a plus
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP , and safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, etc.)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
