The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal or plastic parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The operator ensures parts meet quality standards while maintaining safe and efficient production.

CNC Lathe Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 18.75 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm)

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components. Load raw materials and monitor machining operations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Make minor program or offset adjustments to maintain part accuracy. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean. Document production counts, scrap, and inspection results. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work with supervisors and quality teams to resolve production issues.

CNC Lathe Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 13 years experience operating CNC lathes preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Basic understanding of G-code and CNC machine controls is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
