• Support light assembly when needed
• Keep simple daily documentation

Job Title: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift Machine Operator

Job Description

The role involves starting with quality assurance for the 2nd shift, with initial training provided during the 1st shift for a period of 4-6 months. The position requires the use of micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and durometers to inspect incoming materials and document daily activities. During periods of reduced activity in quality assurance, there will be opportunities to assist in assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on inbound materials using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and durometers.
• Document daily inspection activities accurately.
• Assist in assembly tasks during slower periods in quality assurance.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with assembly and production
• Proficiency in quality assurance and inspection
• Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
• Ability to perform computer data entry

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and production environments
• Understanding of quality processes

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, but the building remains comfortable due to substantial airflow. The 2nd shift operates Tuesday through Thursday from 1pm to 11:30pm, with occasional Mondays. Initial training is on the 1st shift, from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
