Job Description

As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to precise specifications. Your role will involve loading raw materials, unloading finished parts, and ensuring each component meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Confirm setup and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Load raw material and unload finished parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling as required.
• Make minor program edits or offset adjustments when necessary.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete production and quality documentation as required.

Essential Skills

• CNC lathe operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in quality inspection using calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of CNC setup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with CNC Lathe Operation.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlefield, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
