Job Title: Manager of Pricing & Legal Project Management
Location/ Work Structure : Hybrid (Cincinnati, Cleveland, St. Louis)

- Direct the firm’s annual rate review and approval process, aligning pricing strategies with market trends and firm objectives.
- Establish and maintain a structured client rate management program designed to support profitability and long-term client relationships.
- Work closely with attorneys to design value-based pricing approaches for RFPs and prospective client engagements.
- Partner with the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer to help shape go-to-market initiatives and strengthen the firm’s competitive position.
- Create and manage matter budgets, supporting partners in delivering services within defined financial parameters.
- Deliver data-driven analysis and recommendations that help improve matter performance and overall client profitability.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of litigation funding proposal submissions when required.
- Assess, select, and deploy technology solutions that support pricing strategy and legal project management functions.
- Evaluate current workflows and introduce process enhancements that improve pricing operations and project management efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance leadership, including the Director of Finance and CFO, on strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including setting expectations, supporting development, and conducting performance evaluations.
What Experience You'll Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in pricing, finance, or project management within a professional services environment; legal industry experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Proven experience developing complex pricing models and financial analyses.
- Experience managing project delivery within professional services organizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience, including coaching and performance evaluation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to delivering excellent internal client service and driving continuous process improvement.
