A day in this role

From setup to final inspection, you’ll own the details. You’ll align components, check fit-up, and complete high-quality welds. Between runs, you’ll keep your work area orderly and safe, coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines, and give your torch and equipment the routine care they need for peak performance. As your confidence grows, you’ll also lend a hand onboarding new welders—sharing best practices and safe techniques.

What you’ll handle

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate metal parts and assemblies
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications
• Verify weld quality and ensure parts meet dimensional and visual standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area, following safety protocols
• Collaborate with the team to hit production targets and quality benchmarks
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment for reliable operation
• Assist with training new team members on welding methods and safety practices

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding technical certification preferred
• Proven MIG welding experience, supported by a portfolio of completed work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to first-rate workmanship
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and safe work practices
