Product manager water systems
Job Description
Job Summary The Product Manager will support Product Managers and the Sr. Manager, Chilled Water Systems and help drive the strategy for Thermal Chilled Water Systems product offerings, with a focus on development and management of solutions to support the Americas region. The Product Manager will work across the organization with key customers, sales teams, and regional stake holders to identify and quantify the market applications and opportunities, develop roadmaps, and work with cross functional teams to execute the roadmap through New Product Development Stage Gate process. This role will focus on executing later stage gates in the Product Development Process such as the launch phases and maintaining existing offerings but will also include developing new offerings. Responsibilities- Develop and execute product lifecycle management plans including product introduction, line extension, engineered to order, and end of production.
- Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Ensure all customer facing offering documentation and marketing collateral is available and accurate.
- Provide offering information to Customers, Sales, Customer Service and Application Engineering.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, product demos, and other sales enablement tools.
- Develop and track metrics to measure post-launch sales performance of new offerings.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop marketing programs for demand generation.
- Manage list pricing and discounts.
- Manage product line profitability and volume forecasts.
- Assist in championing resolution of offering issues (i.e. delivery, quality, inventory)
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) in Engineering, Marketing, or other applicable education; MBA a plus
- At least 7 years' relevant experience; and at least 3 years' experience with Chilled Water Systems products
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas.
- Technical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions.
- Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs.
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusion and work with multiple stake holder to drive actions
