Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43212 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Outpatient Breast Center (occasional support at satellite location)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025)
• Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour (08:00–16:30, 08:30–17:00, or 09:30–18:00); 4x10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2520–$2580
• Patient Caseload: 10–15 patients per day
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist (Rad Tech) in screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• Valid Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with Digital Hologic (Tomo) equipment preferred
• Outpatient clinical experience strongly preferred
• Ability to provide two professional references (one must be a supervisor or manager)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities for Mammography Technologist

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using digital and 3-D imaging technology
• Deliver compassionate patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout all radiology procedures
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the Epic electronic medical record system
• Support the main outpatient breast center and provide coverage at a satellite location as needed (screening only)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards in radiologic technology
• No biopsy procedures required for this travel radiology job
