Title: Senior Enterprise Architect - (Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms)

Location: Remote: need to travel when required by client in Columbus, Ohio.

Mode: Contract

Position is 95% offsite, but selected candidates must be available for in-office as needed.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of new solutions as we move forward to meet the State of Ohio's business needs.

This role requires a deep understanding of both Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms, exceptional technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with across the business and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce and MuleSoft Expertise:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform, staying updated on the latest features, best practices, and industry trends.

• Serve as the integration expert utilizing the MuleSoft platform, understand API architecture, best practices, and expertise.

• Lead the development and maintenance of the overall technical architecture for new development utilizing the Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms.

• Design scalable and efficient solutions that align with business requirements and long-term strategic goals.

2. Solution Design and Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and development managers, to gather and analyze requirements.

• Create detailed technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and solution documentation.

• Oversee the development and implementation of application and systems architecture utilizing Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and security.

3. Integration and Data Management:

• Architect and implement robust integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and other systems within the organization.

• Architect data migration solutions from SQL Server to our state data lake, including transformation and governance strategies.

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

4. Performance Optimization:

• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancements.

• Implement best practices to maintain and improve system performance, stability, and reliability.

5. Leadership and Coaching:

• Mentor other members of the architecture team, fostering skill development and growth.

• Guide technical leads from other teams on best practices and industry trends.

• Provide technical leadership and serve as a trusted advisor to senior management.
