Traveling Retail Merchandiser

Position Overview:
As a Traveling Merchandiser, you’ll service multiple retail locations—and at times beyond—supporting large-scale resets, merchandising initiatives, and store projects. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with store leadership.
- Travel extensively (80–100%), including overnight and multi-state trips
- Execute merchandising resets, planogram (POG) compliance, and product placement
- Install fixtures and complete light inventory tasks
- Capture detailed before-and-after photos of completed work
- Check and replenish backstock as needed
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or display issues
- Communicate professionally with store managers during every visit
- Submit accurate reports and photos through company mobile apps or systems
- Previous retail merchandising or reset experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret visual instructions and planograms
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule independently
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable using mobile apps and reporting tools
