Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Representative to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with various accounting software. This role involves managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accounts Receivable Representative will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties

• Process accounts receivable transactions in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data entry and account reconciliation.
• Perform account analysis and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including debits and credits.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve billing inquiries and disputes effectively.
• Assist in revenue cycle management by tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts.
• Utilize technical accounting skills to analyze financial data and generate reports as needed.
• Support governmental accounting initiatives as required by the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles, including double entry bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
• Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette for telemarketing purposes.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other financial software tools is essential.
