Applications Engineer

Provide technical support for sales and marketing (by application).

· Provide technical support for sales representatives and customers.

· Provide solutions for customer design applications.

· Prepare detailed product quotations for sales representatives.

· Collaborate with project management to support large project contract requirements.

· Communicate product design intent to drafting group for product manufacturing.

· Support manufacturing facilities as needed, up to and including factory visits.

· Provide support for warranty and other field issues, up to and including job site visits.

· Define new applications and new products for R&D.

· Gather data needed for competitive analysis for product development direction.

· Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested.

Position Requirements:

· B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

· AutoCAD 2D (AutoCAD Inventor experience is beneficial but not required).

· Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Experience with HVAC systems and air control products is beneficial but not required.

· Well-organized and self-directed.

· Great communicator, both oral and written.

· Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of professionals.

· Ability and willingness to work directly with customers to resolve complex technical issues.

· Ability to travel nationally as needed. Typically, 2-4 days maximum per trip less than 10 times annually.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
