Graphic Artist Prepress Technician

Job Title: Graphic Artist/Prepress Technician - OH Miamisburg Facility

Classification: Nonexempt

Department: OH Art/Prepress

Reports to: Digital Production Manager

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:45pm

· Create or modify customer supplied art using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

· Prepare files through design, typesetting, color separations, and color correction.

. Schedule and coordinate orders through the prepress dept.

SKILLS

· Knowledge of digital, flexo and screen printing

Prep and rip digital files for production on narrow and wide format presses

Prep flexo files, separating colors, and trapping for producing plates

Prep files, separate colors, trap image and create film for screen printing

· Excellent communication working with customers and sales team

. Working knowledge of Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

. Good computer skills with ability to learn new production software

· Familiar with Mac and PC operating systems

· Follows all Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) Standards

· Follows all Good Manufacturing Policy (GMP) Standards

· Works independently and with others as a team

· Excellent quality skills and attention to detail

· Professional interaction with all other Repacorp employees and management

· Energetic and productive: takes initiative

· Well organized and flexible to the work environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires lifting of 25 pounds, standing and sitting for extended periods of time and working closely with production. An ideal candidate will be self motivated, energetic and a quick learner.

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent

Prefer Associates Degree in related field

Prefer experience as a Graphic Artist and/or Prepress experience

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
