• Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards and local building codes
• Prepare permit submittal packages including hydraulic calculations and equipment data sheets
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field foremen
• Generate fabrication and material reports for the shop and field crews
• Perform design revisions as needed based on field conditions or inspector feedback --- QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in fire sprinkler design (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or AutoSprink
• Familiarity with NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D standards
• NICET Fire Protection certification (preferred but not required — we're willing to invest in the right candidate)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
