Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No previous experience allowed for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

• 6 months gap required between for Travel at Facility: James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: * Telemetry Interpretation * Telemetry monitoring * Blood Product Administration * Central line blood draw * Starting and maintaining IVs * Isolation Precautions/PPE * References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. * Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass.

Preferred Skills/Experience: * Oncology experience * Accessing/Managing Ports * Administration of chemotherapy * Tracheostomy care/management

Required Credentials: * Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. * You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. * There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start – no exceptions. * ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THE URGENCY OF THE OHIO FINGERPRINTING PROCESS. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. * Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities. * Please only submit to one location. The AM team will find the best fit for the clinician.

Special Requests: * RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Floating Requirements: * Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
