Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (23 beds, daily census 22)
• Patient Ratios: 4-5 patients per Registered Nurse
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1940 - $1990

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio state RN license required at submission)
• BLS certification required
• IV certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to pass a telemetry test
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients in a clinical setting
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references (one from a nurse manager, director, or formal leader)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms
• Start and manage IVs, administer medications, and perform general RN duties
• Educate patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV teams, PT, RT, pharmacy, and more
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
